The JG6500-21 is a sleek, trim timepiece that bridges the gap between work and play. As part of the Presidential Collection, this chronograph is designed for leaders. The model JG6500 was given as a present to President Barack Obama by his Secret Service detail in 2007. This watch's compact 37-millimeter stainless steel case contains a high-precision Japanese Miyota quartz movement and silver case bezel. Shielded by a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, the black dial features three sub-dials as well as luminous markers and hands that complement the black, alligator-style strap. Its screw-down caseback protect the watch for up to 100 meters of water resistance. The commander-in-chief has worn the timepiece on a number of special occasions, from his nomination speech to his acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize. A commemorative version of this iconic watch was introduced in 2009. On the caseback, a special inscription reads, The 44th President of the United States, Barack H. Obama, January 20th, 2009, Commemorative Edition. With a smaller, more intimate size, the JG6500-21 is made to be worn by either gender. The Presidential Collection features the timepieces of history.
